Faces

The face shows my inner personality or maybe how I would like myself to be portrayed.

Being confident shows people that no matter what is going on you do not rely on anyone except yourself and God and you are sure of whatever you are doing.

Loving and caring shows that you care, and I know that I care about what is going on around me and how much I would love to help in whatever ways I can.

Hard working also portrays confidence how you work hard so you can only rely on yourself for future references.

The above mentioned characteristics are the best way I would like to portray myself in front of anyone. I would want people to know that they can only try to destroy me but they can't destroy me.

Reflections

I think it is easier writing a slam poem because it is all about your emotions and how you feel. It is mostly all about what hurts your feelings, to let people know what they do that hurts your feelings,it helps you to tell people that you don't like what they do if you can't tell them like directly talking to them. I believe it was easy performing the poem up on stage because you don't directly talk to anyone, you may be talking to everyone in general or just one specific person but it is indirectly which makes it easier to perform.

Comparison with the theme of the Pearl.

The article is a about a Zambian president Mr Chiluba who was accused of embezzling $500,000( from the public funds by the people,that was meant to be used to build schools,hospitals and facilitate the public places and He also spent out of the public fund trying to prove his innocence against all the prosecution.

This article relates to the theme of the pearl because the Zambian was greedy and cared only about himself and does not care about what he does and the decisions he makes,how they affects others around him. This was what happened to Kino too,before he found the pearl ha cared about his son,wife and others around him, but after finding the pearl he forgets about others and cares only about himself. His intention was to find a pearl that he was going to use to pay the doctor but after finding it,his intention changed completely to wanting the pearl to make him rich. The intention of the President was to serve his country wholeheartedly but when he sees that the country gains a lot of money,he changes his mind to wanting the whole money to himself. That is how i think the article relates to the theme of the pearl.

Daily Reflections

The novella "the pearl" shows the greediness of human beings and how their expectations expand daily as they grow and learn more things in life.

Coyotito got sting by the sting and Juana and Kino were so desperate of curing him because he was their only child and they were afraid of losing him because from the sting,it will turn to a swell and it will turn to a stomach cramp and he will die.So they set out for the river and luckily for them they found a pearl but before they found the pearl they went to the doctor and the doctor ignored them but now they found the pearl and he came to cure Coyotito and after that evil started befalling them.

This shows that people only love those that have what they can give out like money and wealth.It also shows that money is the root of all evil.

This relates to my life because when i did not have so much my friends never felt like i was living because they were all like always spending money and i could not spend as much as they can so this shows that Kino did not have so much as the doctor had expected to have so he treats them like as if they are not important.

This is how it reflects in my daily life.

guess the mood again

the SAVE policy in this school does not affect everyone,all students are made sign it but some staffs don't sign it. That does not show a good school policy. Some staffs smack students even if joking but then when the students reminds them of the SAVE policy they don't listen they say that they did not sign it. The SAVE policy is supposed to be for everyone in this school and not only students it is not a good policy. staffs must also be made to sign it and not only we the students. guess some students don't even like it. Students are punished whenever they are reported of doing something against the SAVE policy even if they were joking with it and the staffs don't get punished whenever they go against the policy.

A new policy should be made and all living human being that works or learns and lives in the school must be made to sign it. Thank you.

I fell like i am about to burst out in tears.It is a wonderful thing for that to happen.

In my mind right now i have a lot of thoughts on helping people with the money because i hate seeing helpless people on the streets,it makes me fell bad that God has blessed me a lot with this money and i don't want to help those who need it.

I intend on donating some of the money to the orphanage, I love little kids and it makes me feel bad whenever i see them in a way they are not meant to be.I will also intend on building schools for the orphanage kids and those kids who need education for free and I will use the money on things that will help people and I will keep some money for myself and my parents to appreciate them for all what they have done for me,for my upbringing.

Impression

It was a boy i met in Nigeria,he was a really nice boy, he was not all other kinds of boys that were in Nigeria that were like going to fall over you even though they did not like you.Those boys were as deceitful as a cameleon.He was the kind of boy that cared about you and he is always ready to help you in every manner.

When i was in Nigeria,i loved candies so much,i could take like five candies a day and the boy was like candy is not good for me especially for me because i am a girl, he made sure i reduced the amount of candy i take each day to one a day but it got to an extent that he made me to stop taking candy and whenever he sees me taking candy he makes sure i threw it away and he was going to make sure that i don't buy anymore that day.He really left an impression on me because he was the one who made me to stop taking candy, if it was that i didn't listen to him,i will get to have a stomach ache each day of my life,because the candy was already starting to damage my intestine and when i stopped taking candy ,i started having some after effect of the candy because it was like i was addicted to taking candy so i started having stomach ache like everyday.It was like as if i was about to die.
